Our story begins in New Bern, North Carolina, the state’s first capital and a small town known for its charm, resilience, and history of craftsmanship. Just like New Bern has always been a place where tradition meets progress, Beyond Broom was built on the idea of blending hard work with forward-thinking ambition.
Founder Toddrique Wright grew up sweeping floors in his father’s barbershop, learning early on the value of cleanliness, discipline, and pride in every detail. There was one older gentleman who would often stop by the shop—after watching young Toddrique diligently sweep, he’d tip him and say, “Son, always think beyond the broom.”
Those words became more than encouragement—they became a mindset. To “think beyond the broom” meant that cleaning wasn’t just about sweeping up or tidying a space, it was about creating order, bringing comfort, and elevating environments so people could live and work better.
Carrying that wisdom forward, Beyond Broom was founded to transform the way people view cleaning. What started as a personal lesson in a small-town barbershop has grown into a company that serves homes, businesses, and communities with care, precision, and trust.

Regular Residential Cleaning
-Apartments: Starting at $150 for 1 bed/1 bath (approx. 2 hours).
- Houses: Starting at $200 for 2 bed/2 bath (approx. 2.5 hours).
*Sq Footage additional fees applied for spaces 3000 Sq feet & up*
Includes:
- Dusting furniture and surfaces
- Vacuuming/ Sweeping and mopping floors
- Wiping all countertops and appliances (exterior)
- Bathroom cleaning (sink, toilet, shower/tub, mirrors)
- Kitchen cleaning (sink, counters, stovetop)
Trash Removal
- Additional Bedrooms: $15
- Additional Bathrooms: $15
Deep Residential Cleaning
- Apartments: Starting at $275 for 1 bed/1 bath (approx. 3 hours).
- Houses: Starting at $325 for 2 bed/2 bath (approx. 4 hours).
*Sq Footage additional fees applied for spaces 3000 Sq feet & up*
Includes all regular cleaning services, plus:
- Cleaning inside cabinets and drawers
- Scrubbing baseboards and window sills
- Deep cleaning kitchen and bathroom (Washing dishes)
- Dusting ceiling fans and light fixtures
- Additional Bedrooms: $20
- Additional Bathrooms: $20
Move-In/Move-Out Cleaning
- Apartments: Starting at $175
- Houses: Starting at $225
Includes all deep cleaning services, plus:
- Cleaning inside closets/ inside cabinets
- Trash removal
- Sweeping out garages/balconies
Residential Add-Ons
- Washing dishes(Included with Deep Cleaning) : $25 per sink load
- Inside microwave cleaning: $10
- Inside oven cleaning: $30
- Inside refrigerator cleaning: $50
- Window cleaning (interior only): $50 per 10 standard-sized windows
